How to receive permission
All publications of the Iris Kater Publishing House are copyright protected.
You need a written permission of the rightholder if you would like to print passages from one of our books. All inquiries addressed to the Iris Kater Publishing House must be in written form, either by post, fax or e-mail.
Unfortunately, we cannot give any kind of permission verbally.
Express inquiries cannot be worked on preferentially.
How to apply for permission
• Please take some time in order to examine the book concerned, in particular the copyright information, acknowledgement and author´s note.
• If your source is an anthology, you will find all the necessary data in the section on the authors and in the sources. Please address your inquiry directly to the person(s) concerned.
• Inquiries about the rights of pictures and illustrations may be sent directly to the rightholders credited in the source list.
We need the following information in your inquiry:
• Title and author of the book for which you are requesting permission
• Exact indication of the publishing house in which the book appeared
• ISBN - International Standard Book Number (appears on page four of the book)
• Exact indication of the text which you would like to print. Please attach the text in copy and indicate page numbers.
• Title and publisher, prospective publication date, price, range and number of copies, as well as format (hardcover, paperback, e-book, etc.) of your work
